This is faintly similar to the artistry I see illustrated upon the postcards, writing acessories, and decor depicting paris ladies and the likes. your creation however has high laquer in areas which makes it shiny and seem like you used a tiny portion of that PVC or Polyeurathane? body paint. also your artwork always screams with intensive vigor and loudness upon the eyes. I relish every piece of art with every bloody bit of my aorta! :D

uo! what a complement! I am so pleased you enjoy it. I simply made it for drawing day a while ago...I think there's a certain feeling to it because the process was immediate. No planning, no erasing. The paint is just highly pigmented watercolor. WinsorNewton brand <3

I'm hoping to get a physical copy when I can afford it! It's out of print, and people aren't letting go of their copies for cheap. I absolutely love Barnaby Ward's style. God damn.

This is gorgeous-- I love the way you've drawn her expression, and the figure, which seems to me as an awesome mix of graphical and realistic. :)

Ooh, no eraser. You're getting more progressive. :D

The emotional atmosphere and strength of the female character resonating from the image is outstanding and perfectly melds with the stylized appearance of the composition. Colors drip from the elements as if the broad beauty and finesse of the artwork is still wet from the brush. Good work, Gillian...you just keep getting better and better. :huggle:
